Description: Farris and Foster's is the blending of the two friendships as well as the talents of two long time residents of the Orlando-Winter Park area of Florida. They have combined their enthusiasm, work ethic, and love of chocolate to form a company where the customer comes first.

Farris Riggsbee is a chocolatier of 15 years, has extraordinary talent in making the most delicious chocolates as well as pleasing to the eye. He has more enthusiasm than anyone I know, says Foster. In fact, comparing Farris with the Crocodile Hunter, Foster says that the Crocodile Hunter looks like Ben Stein. Jon Foster Lanenga, a local entrepreneur moved to Orlando years ago. Farris (always thinking of recipes), says that Foster is the perfect pinch of salt that makes the whole company run as smooth as Foster's red 1952 MG. By the way, says Farris, if Foster didn't drive his topless sports car so fast, he'd have more hair. Farris and Foster believe strongly in service to God, family, and community.

When the business began, Farris served in the United States Air Force Reserves. But he was called up to active duty for 6 months. When his tour was over, the Air Force wanted him and convinced him to stay. J. Foster volunteers in the Boy Scouts of America. Both have served many years in their churches and combined they have been married over 50 years. Farris and his wife Roberta have 2 adult children. Foster likes to say his family consists of "one and 1/2 dozen" - that's him and his wife Teri, and their 5 children, (not including the two crazy sons-in-law and four grandchildren, soon to be six).
